isAbsolute

isAbsolute(href) returns true when href starts with / or carries a protocol (via hasProtocol). The inverse is isRelative. Part of pota/use/url.

Classify a few links

/-rooted and protocol-bearing URLs are absolute; bare and hash links are not.
